The Hohe Bracht Tour, a regional cycle tour, starts at Altenhundem railroad station in Lennestadt and follows the course of the River Lenne. It is integrated into the Sauerland cycle ring in sections. A striking point on the route is Meggen, where the Sauerland pyramids with the Galileo Park can be seen from afar above the Lenne valley. Adjacent to this is the Siciliaschacht mining museum. The route continues to Grevenbrück and then leads to Elspe, famous for its Karl May Festival. There is a continuous ascent to Halberbracht, the culmination point of the tour. This is followed by a descent to Langenei, where the connection to the Lenne is re-established. The ride continues on the SauerlandRadring, after which you return to the starting point in Altenhundem via Kickenbach. Along the entire route, there are a variety of places to stop for refreshments to experience the regional gastronomy.
