The Kahle Pön loop is a regional cycle tour located in the characteristic low mountain range landscape of Upland. This circular tour offers cyclists a comprehensive experience of nature on sections that are both challenging and accessible. The route begins with a passage through the Musenberg and then leads to the Hoher Pön, using a former cross-country ski trail that opens up a new perspective on the surroundings. The route continues on a paved surface until a specific single trail reaches the Diemelquelle. From there, the tour follows the Uplandsteig trail, which circles the Kahle Pön and leads to the Kahle Lied. At Kahle Lied, there are far-reaching panoramic views over the Korbach and Medebach plains. Another section of the tour includes a scenic single trail that meanders from the summit area with views of Usseln down into the valley. The circuit ends at the EWF biathlon stadium in Willingen, the original starting point. The cycle tour is characterized by a variety of natural impressions, including wide expanses of heather, which take on a characteristic purple hue during the flowering season. The combination of different sections of the route offers a shared experience of nature.
