The Kinderland cycle route, an appealing circular tour, starts in Schmallenberg, at the timber and tourism center. The route is characterized by moderate topographical challenges, which are compensated by extensive panoramic views and a variety of nature experiences. The design of the route integrates a continuous opportunity to stop for refreshments, which enriches the overall experience. Orientation on this tour is facilitated by a differentiated guidance system: the main route is marked with a yellow label and the code number 1 (blue). The route can be effectively shortened in Ebbinghof using the purple marking with the number 3. Along the course of this cycle route, cyclists will find a variety of incentives for active exploration and regeneration. Designated rest areas, equipped with play areas, idyllic ponds and refreshing pedal pools, offer welcome intervals for relaxation. Natural streams also offer opportunities to cool off and linger in the immediate surroundings. The rich fauna along the way - from grazing animals such as horses, goats, donkeys and cows to wild animals such as roe deer, black storks, herons, stags and hares - characterize the authentic nature experience of this region in North Rhine-Westphalia.
