The circular tour from Eslohe runs through the Hochsauerland district and opens up a multifaceted landscape. Starting in Eslohe, the route leads through various villages such as Sallinghausen and Bremke, before providing further insights into the regional structure via Reiste and Kirchrarbach. The route includes dynamic sections that extend via Oberhenneborn and Landenbeck to Bad Fredeburg. Further south, the profile becomes more challenging as the tour passes high altitudes such as the Kahler Asten before returning to Schmallenberg via Neuastenberg and Grafschaft. The route comes full circle via Wormbach and Berghausen before returning to Eslohe via Menkhausen and Frielinghausen. This allows for a comprehensive exploration of the natural and cultural features.

You can travel to Freienohl by regional train. You can take the 376 bus line from Freienohl station to Elsohe bus station.

How to get there

You can reach Freinohl via the A44/A46 highway. From Freinohl, drive through several small villages to Eslohe.

Parking

You can park at the hiking portal parking lot in Eslohe. The hiking portal is located directly at the Eslohe Sparkasse bank in the town center.


Further parking is available at the bus station.
