The Arnsberg Monastery Route begins at the historic Rumbeck Monastery. The route runs on asphalt paths along Mescheder Straße, directly into the urban area of Arnsberg, to Wedinghausen Monastery. From there, the route stretches along the Ruhr loop towards Bruchhausen, where the Rodentelgen Chapel is a site of historical significance. After leaving Bruchhausen, the tour leads via Herdringen to Oelinghausen Monastery. After exploring this monastery, the route leads back to the Ruhr via Hüsten to return to Arnsberg along the opposite bank via Bruchhausen and Niedereimer. The final stage via Uentrop completes this circular route and leads back to the starting point in Rumbeck. This fully signposted route offers a harmonious combination of nature experience and cultural immersion.
