The Bäder Tour represents a specific route within the Sauerland Valley Tour. This circular route starts in Olpe at the train station, from where the route initially stretches along the Biggesee. It can be joined flexibly at various points along the route. The tour passes the Hoher Bilstein natural monument, then leads via Stade to Kessenhammer and follows the Neger stream to the village there. Via Rother Stein, the route reaches Rehringhausen, a community characterized by its well-kept ensemble of half-timbered houses. The historical recognition as a federal gold village in the "Our village has a future" competition in 2009 underlines the special character of the village. There are various places to stop for refreshments along the route. The circular route finally returns to Olpe. There you have the opportunity to view the BiggeSeeFront on the opposite side of the lake, which was completed in 2019.

Safety guidelines

A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerlandkreis, Märkischer Kreis, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the Südwestfalen cycle network.
