Blue-green Möhnesee cycle tour

The tour starts at the Haus des Gastes in the Körbecke district. After following the main road, you reach junction 66. From there, the route leads north along the Daiwesweg to junction 75. The route through fields and meadows offers far-reaching views of the Möhne and the Haar landscape. Nearby are the Drüggelter Chapel and the Bismarck Tower, which are considered regional sights. On the lakeshore, you will come across Haus Delecke and follow the signs to junction 71. Boat trips on the dam are possible from the MS Möhnesee pier in Delecke. After crossing the Delecke bridge, the route continues to the right, following junction 73 along the Hevehalbinsel nature promenade. The following junction 72 allows you to continue the tour along the southern shore of the lake. A detour to the Möhnesee tower is planned; it is recommended to walk up. At the Stockumer Dam, continuing along the southern shore, the "Little Venice" area presents itself. Along the route and in the area of the Kanzelbrücke bridge (junction 68) there are opportunities to take a break. The Völlinghausen wildlife park is a short distance away and offers another opportunity for a break. Following the route (junction 69), you pass the beach area of the Westphalian Sea. The Uferlos lido in Wamel has a sandy beach with other facilities. The route then returns to junction 70, where there is a wide view over the Seepark and the lake steps down to the water. The Seepark, with its extensive meadows, play areas and restaurants, is a great place to end the day. From here, the starting point (junction 66) of the tour can be reached again quickly.
