Möhnesee-Körbecke
Möhnesee-Körbecke
A good starting point is the Haus des Gastes in Körbecke. We follow Schützenstraße uphill for a short distance and turn left onto Daiwesweg. This becomes Kirchweg and leads to Westrich. There we keep right and cycle along the Stemmweg up to Haar and on to Thing Hof in Theiningsen. Thingstraße now leads us back, via Sankt-Agatha-Weg, further left onto Haarweg, which we quickly cross (watch out for the main road!). Following the signs, turn right onto a field path down to the shore of Lake Möhne. After about one kilometer, we reach the imposing dam wall. After crossing it, the route follows the banks of the Hevearm nature reserve to the Hevedamm. Once you reach the other side, you can take a detour to the gatehouse. We then cycle around the Heve peninsula to the southern shore of Lake Möhne. We follow the cycle path along the shore to Stockumer Damm. Back on the north side, we turn right to Löershof. The path leads us further uphill to Stockumer Weg and, turning left, we reach Körbecke again a short time later.
