The Diemelsee KulTour, a regional cycle route, starts near the Diemelsee lake in Heringhausen. From there, the route first leads along Kirchstraße in the direction of the striking barrier wall. Passing the mini-golf course, it joins the Siekesweg, which leads out of Heringhausen. The Diemelsteighütte is passed along the way. The route then follows the direction of Rhenegge, through the village of Rhenegge. The route continues to Adorf. Follow Arolserstraße until you reach the turn-off to Heimberg. The route then continues at a relaxed pace to Vasbeck. After passing through the village, the path leads through sections of forest to Hofgut Frederinghausen. A little later, you reach Massenhausen, known for its toy museum. Located in the Bad Arolsen district, the historic half-timbered town of Mengeringhausen offers a culturally enriching stopover before reaching the former residential town of Bad Arolsen.
