Enser village tour

The Enser-Dörfer-Tour presents itself as a regionally significant cycle tour within the municipality of Ense in the district of Soest. The route offers a variety of rural impressions, ranging from historic villages to sections close to nature. Starting at a striking historical building, the route leads through a varied topography that includes both gentle climbs and more level sections. Cyclists pass through idyllic small forests and follow the course of a renaturalized stream, whose revitalized landscape provides ecological insights. The tour cleverly connects various districts of Ense, including Höingen, Oberense and Sieveringen, allowing you to experience village life and local architecture along the way. A key feature of this tour is its harmonious integration into the supra-regional South Westphalia cycle path network. Sections along this established infrastructure alternate with specially designated passages that follow the Enser-Rund-Tour logo and ensure a coherent route. This concept enables a focused exploration of the regional features and at the same time offers an orientation-friendly design. The route, which returns to the starting point thanks to its circular nature, combines aspects of cultural exploration with scenic recreation in a balanced form.

If you are coming by public transport from Werl or Neheim, you can use the R43 or R45 lines.

Coming by car, take the A44 Werl/Ense exit in the direction of Ense-Bremen or the A445 Neheim/Ense exit in the direction of Ense-Bremen.
