This mainly asphalted circular route leads through meadows and pastures and along the edges of forests with moderate gradients. Views of the historic Hanseatic town of Medebach open up along the route.
The tour offers various stops for active recreation. In the Hasenkammer, the Hasenkammer motor skills trail invites you to take a detour; the entrance is located between two farms. The viewing tower of the AVENTURA SpielBerg can be seen from afar and can be reached via a discovery trail, also starting in the Hasenkammer. Signs with the Medebach mountain dwarf provide orientation.
The Center Parcs Hochsauerland also offers a variety of leisure options, such as mini golf or a visit to the petting zoo. A continuation of the cycle path leads to a hiking board from which the Center Parcs Market Dome is accessible. The nearby Weddelsee lake, which can be reached via the "Am Weddel" road, offers an option for contemplation. Alternatively, there is the Oberntor playground, which can be found via Bahnhofstraße on the corner of Hengsbecke.

Directions
The circular route is signposted throughout with the black/white trail marker M3 (hiking trail: Kuckucksuhlenweg M3).From the starting point at the market square, the trail leads through Hinterstraße, Weddelstraße, Vopeliusstraße, then uphill at the corner of Kampstraße (at the garden market) towards Weddel. The tour leaves the asphalt road and continues left along a gravel path below the Winterkopf, then left onto the asphalt path towards Kuckucksuhle. We follow the road past the campsite/holiday farm in the Hasenkammer on the left, with the AVENTURA and Center Parcs on the right.The route ends back at the market square via Hengsbecke, Beckmannstraße and Weddelstraße.

- From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg and then to Medebach.
- From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
- From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg and then to Medebach.
