The gravel bike tour through the Orketal valley no. 8 starts in Winterberg, from where the route leads uphill to the south. A high-level trail then opens up forest areas in the direction of the "Hohe Seite", followed by a largely downhill passage to Hesborn. The route then crosses a mountain ridge, which leads to a striking descent to Medelon in the Orketal valley. Passing through Vildischer Grund, the trail reaches Ehrenscheider Mühle, along which there are opportunities to rest in a natural setting. The final section requires a significant ascent back to Winterberg before the Bremberg marks the end of this circular tour.

The journey from Dortmund to Winterberg and vice versa takes just 104 minutes. Six times per working day or twelve times on Saturday or Sunday.
