Gravel trail tour no. 33 starts on the outskirts of Brilon and leads past the Poppenberg up to the Borberg. This historic cult site opens up far-reaching panoramic views over Olsberg. With a view of the striking Bruchhauser Steine, the trail continues towards Elleringhausen and on into the Hoppecketal valley. From there, the trail climbs onto the border trail between Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia, in the middle of a pristine natural landscape. From Bontkirchen, the challenging route runs in sections on single trails along the Diemel dam before plunging back into wooded terrain. Via the Jickjackmühle and the Poppenberg, the route allows a comfortable return to Brilon on asphalt sections.
