Mountain tour around Herscheid

The regional cycle tour around Herscheid, a circular route through the Sauerland region, starts at the parking lot of the Verse dam. The route begins along the banks of the Verse Reservoir, a phase that serves to set the mood for the challenge ahead. This is followed by the more demanding section, which involves overcoming three prominent elevations. The highest point of the tour is reached in Ober-Holte, which offers an extensive panoramic view of the surrounding landscape of the Märkischer Kreis.
