The Medebach Valley Tour No. 5 presents itself as a varied circular route through the characteristic landscape of the Hochsauerland district. Starting at the historic church in Medebach, the route initially leads to Glindfeld with a moderate incline. From there, the route leads through wooded terrain past ponds before reaching the state road 740. The route is characterized by an alternating profile of ascents and descents in forest and field areas. The Hallebach valley forms the transition to Oberschledorn. On the further route to Hillershausen, there is a topographical elevation to overcome. The tour then leads from Aarmühle into Lichtenfelser Land, where mainly flat sections lead to Goddelsheim and finally to the Aar near Münden. The return to Glindfeld and finally to Medebach follows the course of the Orke and Gelängebach rivers. This circular route offers a comprehensive exploration of the regional features.

From the north: A7, A2, A33 to Wünnenberg-Haaren junction, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the west: A44 Dortmund-Kassel, exit Werl junction, A445 Meschede to Bestwig, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg and then to Medebach.
Parking
It is possible to park free of charge in the parking garage by arrangement with the Medebach Tourist Information Office. A separate parking ticket must be deposited in the vehicle.
