Safety guidelines
A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network, among other places
Author Tip
A short trip underground? In the Sauerland visitor mine Ramsbeck, the adventure mine near Bestwig, guests, equipped with helmets and protective clothing, take the mine train 1.5 kilometers deep into the mountain.
