  • Ascent to the "Schlot" - good for rolling in 5.5 km, 250 m elevation gain

  • Fast descent to Beckum, but beware: approx. 50 m after entering Beckum: three bumps!

  • After crossing the Beckumer Feld model airfield: ATTENTION descent with poor surface and junction with the K26

  • Short crisp climb before Eisborn, approx. 18%

The RAAM Team North route presents a challenging road bike tour that places specific demands on physical fitness. It offers a challenging design that provides a multi-layered experience in the landscape. Starting in Altena with the ascent over the winding Brachtenbecke, the route then reveals itself to be a delightful descent. These include the route to the Brenscheid mills in the Nahmerbach valley. A balancing flat section through the Ruhrauen near Fröndenberg allows you to recover before the route turns into hilly terrain again. The route is also characterized by a variety of refreshment stops. Cultural highlights, including Altena Castle, and a varied landscape enrich the overall experience.
