The circular tour "with a view" begins in the historic Hanseatic town of Soest and leads along the Pengel-Anton route, a former railroad line, to Lake Möhne, with sections free of cars. From the Haar mountain range, there are repeated panoramic views of the largest reservoir in the Sauerland and the adjacent Arnsberg Forest. Once at Lake Möhne, well-maintained cycle paths follow the northern shore in places. The way back to the starting point is via the Alter Soestweg, which runs through the Kleiberg nature reserve. Although this section has a few meters of elevation gain, the passage through the former military training area between Soest-Hiddingsen and Möhnesee-Büecke offers special observation opportunities: Semi-wild horses, Heck cattle and wild sheep live there. The view of the striking church tower silhouette of the historic Hanseatic town of Soest at the end of the tour is an impressive finale. From this point, the ride to the destination is a pleasant and effortless descent.
