The Ruhr-Möhne-Runde, a challenging regional cycle tour, starts at the NASS leisure pool in Arnsberg-Hüsten. The route crosses the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park with its characteristic gradients and leads to the Heve basin on Lake Möhne. The Hevearm-Hevesee nature reserve there is a vital resting and wintering area for a variety of waterfowl species. From this point, there are options for exploring the dam wall or the southern shore of Lake Möhne. A detour to the Möhnesee tower on the Rennweg, starting at the Möhnesee gatehouse, offers a far-reaching panoramic view of the surrounding landscape from a height of 40 meters after climbing 200 steps. Along the Möhne Valley cycle path, you pass Delecke before the route reaches the impressive dam wall. The tour continues via Niederense and Moosfelde to Möhnepforte in Arnsberg-Neheim. Finally, the RuhrtalRadweg leads along Mendener Straße, past Neheim-Hüsten railroad station, back to the starting point at the NASS leisure pool. Along the entire route, a variety of refreshment stops invite you to take a welcome break.
