The Eslohe family tour is a delightful regional cycle tour, designed as a circular route through the Sauerland region. The starting point in Eslohe leads along the Esselbach stream, followed by a moderate ascent on a quiet farm track towards Niederlandenbeck. The route continues through wooded sections, heads towards the Landenbecker Bruch and leads into a steep passage to Arpe. This opens up sweeping views over the characteristic landscape of the Hochsauerland. The route then descends gently through the Wennetal valley, passing the villages of Niederberndorf, Menkhausen and Lochtrop before finally reaching Frielinghausen. From Bremke, the return route is via Sallinghausen to Eslohe. The route is mainly on asphalted surfaces, with sections on country roads.
