A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network.

A 45 Sauerlandlinie, highway exit Olpe
A 4 Köln-Olpe, to the Wenden interchange, continue on the A 45 in the direction of Dortmund to the Olpe exit (approx. 5 km), continue in the direction of Lennestadt
A 44 from Dortmund to the Werl interchange, continue on the A 445 towards Arnsberg, continue on the A 46 to the Wennemen or Enste or Bestwig exit (depending on destination), continue towards Schmallenberg or Eslohe
