The tour, starting in Eslohe, presents the Esloher DampfLandLeute, a museum of technology, at an early stage. This museum offers insights into historical machines and, thanks to its design, enables an in-depth exploration of mechanical functions. The route continues on the SauerlandRadring along a former railroad line. The destination of this stage is the Kückelheim bat tunnel, an important winter roost for various bat species. During the winter months, when the populations hibernate, the tunnel is not passable for cyclists; an alternative signposted bypass is then available. The circular tour continues on this alternative route of the SauerlandRadring, crosses the Salweytal valley and returns to the starting point in Eslohe.
