This cycle tour opens up the Brilon plateau and leads through the Diemelsee Nature Park, which offers various water sports options. The route also extends to Willingen in Hesse. The return route runs through the upper Hoppecke valley, past the Gudenhagen forest outdoor pool, to the historic Hanseatic town of Brilon. There are refreshment stops along the circular route.

Intersections:12 - 07 - 06 - 05 - Bontkirchen - Schwalefeld - Willingen - Brilon-Wald - 13 - 12Note: There are no junctions in the Hessian part of the tourThe tour starts at junction 12 (administration building) and leads out of town via Keffelker Straße to junction 07 (Thülener Kreuz), then turns right towards the airfield and continues to Haus Romberg. There you turn left to the Sauerländer Bogenschützen and continue to junction 06 (Messinghausen) and on to junction 05 (Helminghausen). A few meters further on you reach the dam wall and can decide whether to take the (shorter, 4 km) route along the north bank or the (longer, 8 km) route along the south bank. The route then continues towards Bontkirchen and (note: there are no junctions in Hesse) Schwalefeld before reaching Willingen. Cycle through the town until you reach the cycle path in the Upper Hoppecke Valley towards Brilon-Wald and on to the Gudenhagen forest outdoor pool. From there to junction 13 (Gasthof Gruß) and back to the start at junction 12 (administration building).
