Safety guidelines
A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network.
Author Tip
The centuries-old Marian pilgrimage site with its late medieval miraculous image in Kohlhagen lies along the way and is well worth a visit.

Public transit
Regional trains from Siegen and Hagen/Essen stop at Welschen Ennest every half hour.
How to get there
Welschen Ennest can be reached from Kreuztal via the B517. The A4, B54 and L729 take you to Krombach on the B517.
Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces at the station.
