The "Kult(o)ur" route in Welver forms a northern half-round tour that allows you to experience a variety of regional features. The tour through the municipality reveals a rich spectrum of cultural assets and monuments steeped in history, whose historical relevance is revealed along the way. The natural sections of this circular tour form a significant contrast to the cultural highlights. In particular, the Ahsewiesen, an extensive area of wet meadows near Hachenei, is an important biotope. From the observation hut there, visitors can see a wide variety of avifauna: Breeding birds such as curlews, lapwings, marsh harriers and various duck species, white storks, meadow pipits and red-backed shrikes are just as present here as migratory birds, including bean geese and white-fronted geese, cranes, greenshanks and redshanks. This route provides a comprehensive immersion in the history of the municipality of Welver. The quality of the paths, which are mainly asphalted or paved farm tracks, ensures a pleasant ride throughout. There are also various opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way.
