The W2 pleasure cycle tour is a circular route that leads from Willingen via Stryck and the Aartal valley to Rattlar, the highest village in Upland. The way back via Schwalefeld reveals multi-faceted views.

Directions

The W2 pleasure cycle tour runs towards Stryck and on into the Aartal valley. Turn right here to one of the highest villages in Upland, Rattlar. This section of the route offers beautiful views of the region. The route then continues to the pioneer bridges near Schwalefeld and back to Willingen. The connection to the Diemelsee Cycle Adventure Park is possible via PanoRadelTour near Rattlar and via W4 Pionierbrücken Schwalefeld.

Equipment

We recommend functional, weather-appropriate cycling clothing, rucksack provisions, sufficient fluids (water, tea), air pump, repair kit and multi-tool.

Author Tip

The Dommel observation tower near Rattlar is well worth a detour.
