The Gravel - Medebacher Tälertour No. 5 presents itself as a versatile circular route in the Hochsauerland district, specially designed for demanding cyclists. Starting in Medebach, the route leads with gentle climbs first to Glindfeld and on through wooded areas, past idyllic ponds to the L740. A harmonious alternation of moderate climbs and descents through forest and field landscapes characterizes the route, which crosses the picturesque Hallebach valley and leads to Oberschledorn. The route requires overcoming a moderate elevation before Hillershausen. The tour then continues from Aarmühle in Lichtenfelser Land and reaches Goddelsheim and the River Aar near Münden via flat sections. The way back to Glindfeld and Medebach follows the charming courses of the Orke and Gelängebach rivers, which round off the experience of this varied landscape.

From the west: A44 Dortmund-Kassel, exit Werl junction, A445 Meschede to Bestwig, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg and then to Medebach.
Parking
It is possible to park free of charge in the parking garage by arrangement with the Medebach Tourist Information Office. A separate parking ticket must be deposited in the vehicle.
