The regional cycle tour 'Berg und Tal - zwischen Ruhr, Haar und Möhne' starts in Wickede (Ruhr), the smallest municipality in the district of Soest. The route initially runs westwards along the Ruhr Valley cycle path, crossing the Ruhr Valley railroad tracks via a foot and cycle bridge.
The route then leads cyclists northwards from the Ruhr Valley cycle path. The route passes the historic Scheda estate, formerly a Premonstratensian monastery founded in 1143 and later converted into an estate. The route extends over the Haar to Dreihausen, where you can see the listed Schafthausen estate in Schlückingen, a former manor house. A well-kept chapel lines this section before reaching Blumenthaler Haar.
A climb to Ruhne leads to the wind farm on the Haar, with far-reaching panoramic views over the countryside. The route continues through Bremen and Höingen, down into the Möhne valley to Moosfelde. The route leads westwards via Neheim through the Bachumer Ohl towards Vosswinkel. Shortly before the Vosswinkel wild forest, known as a nature experience facility, the tour branches off to the north. After crossing the B 7 and passing over the Schwarzer Weg, the route returns to Wickede (Ruhr).
The final stage leads over the Ruhr bridge and the Ruhr promenade to the starting point at Wickede (Ruhr) station. The center offers various gastronomic establishments as well as local retail outlets.
