After an initial roll-in phase, the climb to the Steinernes Kreuz presents the first significant challenge. A rapid descent is followed by a continuous climb that culminates in Bracht. The serpentine descent to Oedingen allows for a recovery phase on the flat section of the route to Elspe, famous for the Karl May Festival. The route crosses the Repetal valley before a final ascent to Heggen leads into the Bigge valley. The route to Attendorn is flat and the Altstadt offers an opportunity to stop for refreshments. Along the Listertalsperre there is room for regeneration. At Stade, the route crosses the Biggesee, after which it leaves the Bigge valley in the direction of Olpe. The following sections are undulating and lead to the Biggesee again. The Repetal is reached once again, but the route leads via Jäckelchen into the Veischedetal. A significant ascent to the Benolpe Cross requires advanced physical fitness. The final ascent along the Silberbach stream proves to be more moderate compared to the previous challenges. The Flapetal valley accompanies the last few kilometers with a continuous descent back to Kirchhundem.
