Racing bike - up the "highest"

The "Auf den Höchsten" road bike tour starts in Böddinghausen and leads via Plettenberg, Landemert and Hülschotten. You quickly reach the eponymous "Höchsten", a prominent point on the route. The ascent intensifies towards Finnentrop, culminating in a panoramic point near Faulebutter with far-reaching views. This is followed by a significant section of the tour with a moderate profile. The picturesque route along the Sorsee lake to the dam offers a harmonious backdrop. The route then leads into the Hönnetal valley with few topographical challenges. There, rugged limestone walls and the imposing Uhufelsen rock dominate the geology, while the ride continues on the L 682 towards Deilinghofen. After Hembecke, the tour follows the K32; attractions such as Heinrichshöhle and Felsenmeer Museum are nearby. The route continues via Garbeck on the K12 to Küntrop. The passage via Affeln and Eiringhausen leads to the Lenne crossing. From there you return to the starting point. The circular route combines sporting ambitions and nature exploration.
