Road bike - After waterfall

The road bike tour, starting in Bestwig, initially runs along the Bundesstraße 7 towards Nuttlar. The route then branches off onto district road 15, which leads to Ostwig. Passing Schloss Gevelinghausen, you reach Bigge. The route crosses the districts of Bigge and Olsberg on the Ruhrstraße or main road. The Bahnhofstraße, left near Aqua-Olsberg, leads along the Landesstraße 743 through Gierskopp to Elleringhausen. District road 47, known as Hochsauerlandstraße, continues to Bruchhausen. There you will see a Wasserschloß with an adjoining rose garden at the foot of the Bruchhauser Steine. The route then leads to the rose village of Assinghausen. After a left turn onto the state road 742 in Wulmeringhausen, you reach Brunskappel. From this point, two challenging climbs follow via Elpe and Wasserfall, near which Fort Fun Abenteuerland is located. The final stage from Andreasberg leads with a moderate gradient via Ramsbeck and Heringhausen back to the starting point in Bestwig.

A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network.
