The 'Lennestadt Zweitausender' road bike tour presents itself as a demanding challenge. The start is characterized by the longest ascent, which is initially moderate and later climbs steeply to Einsiedelei. After a passage by the Biggesee, the route runs with varying altitude profiles around Drolshagen, passing the Listersee. Before an extended descent to Plettenberg, there is the striking climb to Windhausen. Another significant climb awaits the riders at Sonneborn. The subsequent descent leads behind Heggen to a final elevation near Dünschede, after which the final sections of undulating terrain begin. In Lennestadt-Altenhundem, there are various catering establishments available for regeneration.
