Soest Key Tour

The "Soester Schlüssel-Tour" is a regional circular route that offers a comprehensive exploration of the Soest districts. The cycle tour opens up new insights into the region for local cyclists and visitors alike. The circular route is signposted throughout, with sections featuring historical panoramas and scenic attractions alternating constantly. The western district of Hattrop has already won awards at district and state level for its exemplary village design. In Hattrop, it is not only the carefully maintained village complex that is impressive, but also the historic half-timbered buildings, which have been carefully converted for contemporary use. To the south is the site of the former Dominican monastery Paradiese, which offers a contemplative atmosphere with its monastery ponds. Continuing south on the Soest Key Tour allows you to take a detour to the "Amper Culture Trail", which presents facts and legends about Ampen at thirteen stations. The Andreaskirche church in Ostönnen, to the west of the route, is home to a historically significant organ. The historic town center of Ostönnen is criss-crossed by the Hellweg and lined with old farmsteads and characteristic quarry stone walls. The tour combines cultural depth with moments close to nature and offers cyclists a variety of refreshment stops along the route.
