Racing bike - Diemelsee & Bruchhauser Steine

The road bike tour starts in Brilon and initially leads through undulating terrain to Olsberg. The route then passes the striking Bruchhauser Steine before crossing the geographically significant Rhine-Weser watershed. The course then runs at ground level through Willingen and continues to Usseln. After Bömighausen, there is a long climb followed by a downhill section to Diemelsee. Behind Bontkirchen, after the Diemelsee, overcoming the Buttenberg presents a particular cycling challenge. From Hoppecke, the route climbs over several hairpin bends, culminating in the final descent back to Brilon.
