The road bike tour through the southern Märkischer Kreis begins on the B229 towards Lüdenscheid as far as Altenmühle. There, the route branches off into the Schwarze Ahe. The route follows the tranquil course of the Ahe stream. After the Herscheid mill, there is an ascent, which can be mastered on the new cycle path. The route then leads down to the Versetalsperre dam, where a largely car-free passage on the forest side offers an extensive view of the dam. From Reblin, the route follows a low-traffic side road to Kisbert. The Oestertalsperre offers a suitable opportunity for a rest and refreshment. Following the course of the River Oester, you reach Plettenberg, which you leave on the B236 in the direction of Finnentrop. From Linschede, there is a moderate ascent to Schlot. A subsequent descent is followed by a further ascent from Hüttebrüchen to Affeln. From this point, the route leads back to Neuenrade.
