The Kleine Teehaus was originally a soap and soda factory operated by the von Viebahn family. In the mid-19th century, the building served the local salt industry for about a decade and housed a small chemical factory. After that operation ceased, the first children’s bathhouse of the Bad Sassendorf Children’s Sanatorium was established here. Today, the historic building serves specialty teas and coffees as well as cakes.
